The 9^th Council of the Asian Fisheries Society has decided to increase interactions between the Society, fisheries scientists and private sector stakeholders by approving paid advertisements in its journal – The Asian Fisheries Science Journal.

The AFS welcomes advertisements on fisheries related products and services in future issues of the AFS e-journal.

Companies and institutions/ organizations interested in advertising their product/services need to fulfill the following requirements: 

1. A minimum of two advertisements (based on 2 issues/volume) is needed for acceptance;
2. Each advertisement submitted must be print-ready for loading on the AFS website;
3. A half page advertisement is US$300/issue e.g. US$600/volume;
4. A full page advertisement will be US$1,000/volume;
5. A one third discount will be given to companies taking up a 3-year advertisement contract in the journal.
6. The Asian Fisheries Society reserve the right to reject any advertisement without the need to provide a reason; decisions of the  Executive Committee  are final;
7. Only approved advertisements with up-front payment will be advertised.
